Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in electrical estimating and quantity take-offs.
Proficiency in costing electrical scopes of work and managing cost packages within software systems.
Strong relationship-building skills with trade partners, clients, and consultants.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents like blueprints and specifications.
Experience with software such as Assemble, BIM 360, or other Revit model engagement software preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive bid proposals for electrical projects.
Train and guide junior estimators in creating detailed take-offs and bid processes.
Ensure material compliance with specifications and resolve design-related issues to keep projects on track.
Assist in negotiating project bids, estimating costs, and purchasing materials.
Actively participate in project kickoff meetings and maintain ongoing communication with project and general managers to assess project progress.
Conduct job closeout reviews and maintain a historical database for future reference and quality control.
