Cross Connection Specialist

Primary Location: Louisville, Kentucky

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Cross Connection Specialist for our premier client in Louisville, Kentucky.

Education and Experience "

High School diploma or equivalent; and Five (5) years of utilities, water quality, operations, and/or plumbing/piping experience; and Valid driver's license. OR

Bachelor's degree and one (1) years of utilities, water quality, operations, and/or plumbing/piping experience; and Backflow prevention device testing certification or can obtain certification within 6 months of hire date; and Valid driver's license.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

Executing and/or coordinating various cross-connection control operations and activities.

Support development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Cross-connection Control Program.

Remove barriers that may inhibit the successful resolution of field problems for our customers, field personnel, supervisors, and managers.

Additional duties include:

Data collection and analysis, documentation control, basic statistical analysis, and measures reporting.

This position may also be responsible for performing for ensuring water systems follow federal, state, and Louisville Water Company rules and regulations.

Cross-connection program ensures that a barrier is installed between the public water supply and potential pollutants within a customer's plumbing.

This role will be more administrative versus out in the field with a heavy focus on data entry, analysis, documentation.
