We're currently seeking a highly motivated Scheduler located in Nashville, TN.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

Qualifications:

In order to become a candidate, you must possess these skills and abilities

Non remote position.

5+ years of construction scheduling experience.

Professional level P6 and/or P8 software proficiency.

Familiarity with other scheduling software.

Proficiency in developing, resource loading, analyzing, and reporting on project schedules.

Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), Critical Path Method (CPM), Time Impact Analysis (TIA), and work breakdown structures (WBS) methodologies, principles, and applications.

Experience with Federal Project contracts/scheduling.

General knowledge of construction means and methods.

Can effectively organize the day based around changing priorities and tasks.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and experience to facilitate the development of the project schedule, develop work breakdown structures (WBS), evaluate the performance of the project, and analyze budget and/or resource variances from the baseline plan.

Engage with trade partners for the development of baseline schedules, monthly updates, and recovery schedules.

Communicate effectively with all field staff members, scheduling consultants, and the client to ensure efficient and accurate schedule development and updates.

Identify and communicate significant schedule risks to staff and appropriate division personnel. Take necessary actions to mitigate possible risks.

Forecast impacts of variances to aid in the management of the schedule and implement controls to avoid claims.

Analyze delivery impacts, time extensions, claims, etc. using schedule fragments.

Interact with scheduling consultants in schedule reviews, claims analysis, etc. Perform monthly cash flow projections and analysis.

Perform manpower projections and analysis

Review all schedule specifications for the development and implementation of the schedule to include proper sequence development and logic changes. Developing schedule fragments for project impacts and identifying continuous improvement and corrective action initiatives included.

Prepare schedule activity status, reporting, and narrative for project management and owner. This includes verifying and managing project log schedule information. Perform schedule analytics such as:

Basic schedule quality

Schedule performance as compared to monthly baseline

"What if" scenarios

Impacts and delays

Facilitate weekly subcontractor schedule meetings to discuss changes, upcoming work, and progress.

Salary:

$60 Per hour

Bonus Pay:

Bonus opportunities are available at management discretion, based on individual job performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate objectives.
