With continuous growth and ongoing works, Wilguru Group has an exciting new job opportunity for a skilled Boilermaker/Welder to join their team in their Townsville workshop, with immediate starts available.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding process specifications.
Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
Perform welding tasks using various welding processes.
Fabricate, assemble, and fit metal components and structures.
Ensuring adherence to safety procedures and quality standards will be a key part of the role.
Identify and report any issues with welding equipment or materials.
Maintaining a clean and organised work area will also be required.
To be a successful applicant, you will need to possess the following:
The ability to pass a weld test in the Townsville Workshop.
Current Work at Heights and Confined Space certificates are advantageous.
A strong commitment to safety is essential.
A White Card or equivalent is required, or the candidate must be willing to obtain one.
Attention to detail is a must.
The successful candidate will be punctual & reliable.
They may be required to undergo a Medical and Drug & Alcohol test.
