IT Subject Matter Specialist

HarmonyTech Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Subject Matter Specialist to join our team. The IT Subject Matter Specialist will utilize a blend of soft skills, technical expertise, and industry knowledge to provide efficient and comprehensive system support. This role requires a deep understanding of relevant operating systems, software, and programming, coupled with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

This position is available in Albuquerque, NM, and requires U.S. citizenship OR Permanent Residence status.

Responsibilities:

Utilize a variety of soft skills, technical skills, and industry knowledge to provide efficient and comprehensive system support.

Demonstrate proficiency in relevant operating systems, software, and programming languages.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently and effectively.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain IT solutions.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to provide informed recommendations and solutions.

Contribute to the development and implementation of IT strategies and initiatives.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.Requirements:

Proven experience in IT support or a related field.

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices.

Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Experience with webMethods

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.Education:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related discipline.

Advanced degrees such as a Master's in Information Systems or a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on technology are preferred.Certifications:

CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

ITIL Foundation certification for IT Service Management
