Business Title: Payroll Specialist

Job Type: Full-time, exempt

Primary Responsibilities:

Audit employee time and data submitted by various departments.

Process payroll in a multi-state corporate environment.

Assist with balancing of payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.

Analyze and respond to inquiries from employees regarding payroll amounts, deductions, entitlement accruals, direct deposit, and other concerns.

Processes garnishment and communicate garnishment information to all parties.

Assist with Tax research and fillings.

Pull various payroll reports from Dayforce.

Knowledgeable with Benefits (pre/post tax) able to support HR as needed.

Qualifications:

Garnishments and Payroll Administration skills

Strong analytical skills

Knowledge of payroll taxes and accounting

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office

Experience with Ceridian or other payroll systems is a plus

Must have 2+ yrs payroll experience
