Assistant Production Control Manager

LHH is actively seeking a Production Manager for a manufacturing company in the Lombard area. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in a growing department.

This role is responsible for acting as liaison between customers and production to support the continued growth of division and provide every day and strategic guidance to the production operations .

The primary responsibilities for this role include

Forecasting production and customer demand

Analyze inventory usage

Prepare departmental reports

Ensure a safe and efficient production area

Play a role in developing and implementing short and long term strategies

Problem solve to ensure smooth production operations and customer demands are meet

Monitor production results against goals and customer expectations

The ideal candidate profile will have the following qualifications

3+ years of manufacturing and inventory control experience

1+ years of leadership experience

ERP experience

Good Excel Skills

Strong background in material slow/planning/scheduling

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
