JOB GOAL: To effectively manage the Administration Center Front Desk, oversee student registration and support the Human Resources Department/ Superintendent's Office.
DEPARTMENT: Educational Support Personnel
REPORTS TO: Superintendent and/or designee
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintains the confidential aspect of the office.
• Receives and directs phone calls and relays messages for Administration Center personnel.
• Greets and directs visitors.
• Exercise professional demeanor in all interpersonal interactions.
• Maintains a central district calendar, employee recognition calendar, employee school calendar (IWAS), and website calendar.
• Schedule and organize physical space and other needs for administration center workshops, trainings, and meetings.
• Maintains news media articles in a notebook for archives.
• Performs clerical and secretarial tasks for Human Resources and Office of the Superintendent as related to routine office procedures (bulk mailings and other tasks assigned).
• Sorts, opens, and dates incoming mail.
• Coordinates scheduling repairs and orders supplies for Administration Center's copy machine, postage machine, and shredder.
• Processes student work permits.
• Assists in maintaining and coordination of student registration forms and procedures.
• Maintains emergency information on central office personnel.
• Maintains district forms and registration.
• Maintains forms and processes applications for all substitute positions, including entering into Skyward and Frontline.
• Maintains a well-organized office area that projects a high-quality, efficient image of the office environment.
• Creates a pleasant, helpful atmosphere for all who contact the district office.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Administration.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Have earned a high school diploma.
• Have a minimum of two years of successful experience in a related secretarial or office position.
• Keyboarding skills; minimum 50 words per minute.
• Proficient in utilizing a computer to communicate via email and using an office productivity suite like Google or Microsoft Office.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working in a public entity or a school system is preferred.
• Experience with Skyward and Frontline Absence Management.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
• 12 months/8 hours
• 260 work days and paid holidays determined by the Board of Education.
• Salary and conditions established by the Board of Education.

Performance is evaluated by the Superintendent or designee.
