Job Description

Job Summary

Welder in fabrication shop, heavy equipment modification including aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel. Blueprint reading for completion of project. Heavy equipment repair and modification on steel parts.

Essential Duties

Requirements

Read and understand Blueprints

Can weld and Certify in a 3G and 4G weld test using the flux core method of welding

Can use a Cutting Torches

Will be required to use grinders

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Must demonstrate ability to learn use of computers system/experience preferred.

· Must demonstrate ability to work independently.

· Must demonstrate ability to prioritize and organize daily activities.

· Must demonstrate ability to work well with others.

· Must demonstrate ability to lift and handle 70 lbs.

· Must demonstrate ability to work independently.

· Must demonstrate ability to work well with others.

Work Environment

· Position requires occasional use of stepladder.

· Position requires occasional operation of forklift-truck and other lifting equipment.

· Position requires high amount of physical effort at times.

· Safety glasses are required (provided by Ace)

The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position requires occasional overtime as needed.
