About the Position
Utility workers are responsible for general plant and equipment cleaning, lifting shoveling, painting, operation of mobile equipment (forklift and bobcats). Ability to learn process operator jobs to fill in for absences or vacation on a full or part-time basis
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide labour support as needed
Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site
Troubleshoot problems
Housekeeping and other duties required
All other duties requiredRequired Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience with high-speed production
Demonstrates a strong team-collaborator attitude while being able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must have good attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
Must be familiar with standardized industrial procedures, practices and concepts
Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
Related Industry KnowledgeEducation or Work Experience
High school diploma/GED preferredAdditional Information
Have the ability to climb stairs, lift 55 pounds, sit and stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, working with heights, bending, and kneeling
Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
