Position Description:

As a Grinder Machinist, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

Set-up and operate any of the following CNC Grinder, CNC Centerless Grinder, Manual Grinder, Jig Grinder, and O.D. Grinders according to instructions and engineering drawing.

Change tooling and wheels while making the proper offsets and setups as needed

Interpret Blue Print dimensions

Understand a flow of machining policies and instructions: MI, QSR, ISO, SOPs, work rules and safety guidelines

Meet schedules and maintain quality standards

Position Requirements:

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

2-5+ years grinding Die Blocks for stamping tooling, mold work grinding gates, shutoffs

SolidWorks

Benefits:

The base compensation range for this role is $20 - $33 / hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
