The Doors Sales Executive is responsible for small repairs through to full modernisation and replacement, as well as supporting with maintenance sales when required.
To proactively manage customer relationships, manage opportunities from current and new customers and close deals in a way that meets customer needs and maximizes KONE’s order book and profitability.
This position will have a base at our Birmingham office and regions covered are Midlands, Central Wales and east Anglia.
Key responsibilities:
Creates and communicates leads and sales opportunities for entire KONE sales team (e.g., cross-selling)
Development of existing and new customer relationships.
Collaboration with the rest of KONE team to improve customer satisfaction.
Proactively generates opportunities from outside current customer base
Manages requests for quotations
Is accountable for leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets
To consult with the Area Service Manager and local engineers
Is accountable for finding customer needs and that KONE’s solution matches with the needs
Is responsible for pricing using the approved tendering tools, and for optimizing prices and discounts
Responsible for timely and accurate information input and reporting in CRM
Responsible for gathering relevant information about market and competitors from the field
Travel to meet customers will be required will be required to undertake site surveys
Skills & Experiences
Industry experience or a technical background is essential
Comfortable surveying all types of doors/gates/shutters. Full training will be given.
Sales and customer management experience is essential
Enjoys working with customers, stakeholders and building relationships
Complaint handling and resolving any queries
Excellent interpersonal and team working skills to gain access and work with the right external and internal networks.
Problem solving and finding solutions
Able to provide exceptional customer service
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
CRM, Salesforce experience is desirable
Customer centric mindset – understanding what creates value to our customers and providing excellent customer service
Good IT skills, CRM (Salesforce).
