JAMF Administrator

Cognizant is seeking a JAMF Administrator for a full-time opportunity in Austin, TX.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide end-to-end administration and MDM management for approximately 6000

· production devices across multiple sites

· Provide Tier 2/3 level iOS/MacOS support for technical issues, troubleshoot and

· resolve working with end users/other technical teams

· Perform iOS/OS updates - identify active devices and perform patching and updates.

· Create documentation - technical and end user documentation; dashboard work

instructions and micro services that support it.

· Data entry and clean up for security database and annual volume testing.

· Assist with compiling quarterly data and completing vendor scoring.

Qualifications:

· Experience maintaining a large deployment of systems managed by Mobile Device

Management (MDM) platform.

· Experience with macOS/iOS based platforms.

· Jamf experience and 200 certification level required / 300 preferred.

· Experience with utilization of 3rd party helper tools (MUT, etc.)

· Understanding of server technologies such as Apache, ATS, experience using Red

Hat Linux or derivative is a plus.

· Experience with scripting and command line utilities: i.e. shell, perl, python.

· Familiarity with general information security best practices for desktops and mobile devices.

· Good communication skills both written and verbal.

· Familiarity with basic networking concepts such as DHCP, DNS, and firewalls.
