MACHINE OPERATOR

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Machine Operator for an automotive carpet manufacturer in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for rolling, winding, repairing carpet, checking for quality issues in a production style manner, assisting with a variety of other tasks, and may be assigned to different departments as needed. You must interview with the company for this position.

Pay Rate

$18.00 per hour.

Schedule and Hours

Schedule and shifts vary so must have open availability.

Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspecting defects on the carpet and re-rolling and repairing carpet.

• Roll and rewind carpet using a hoist.

• Assist with production and quality.

• Inspect defects on the carpet, re-roll, and repair carpet if necessary.

• Operate a forklift.

Machine Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• Must have 2 years manufacturing experience or Work Keys.

• Must be available to work any 12-hour shift.

• Drug screen and background check are required.

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
