Job Title - Managerial Accounting Associate

Job Function - Accounting

Report to - Corporate Management Team General Manager

Job Purpose

Analyze budgeting and accounting reports for the purpose of maintaining expenditure controls.

Add value and improve operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Key Accountabilities

Direct the preparation of regular and special budget reports

Provide advice and technical assistance with cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparation

Summarize budgets and submit recommendations for the approval or disapproval of funds requests

Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings

Seek and identify new ways to improve efficiency and increase profits

Required periodic evaluations and reports regarding the efficacy of internal control procedures and a list of any deficiencies in the current procedures

Must be computer literate, especially Microsoft EXCEL

Knowledge of SAP a plus

Must be detail oriented

Qualifications

Bachelor degree required

Bachelor degree in accounting preferred

Availability and clearance to travel internationally

Overnight travel required (sporadic, approximately twice per quarter)

1-3 years of corporate accounting preferred

General knowledge of accounting in corporate environment required
