Texas Rubber Supply, a Singer Industrial Company, is searching for an Inside Sales Representative. We do this with a robust line of fluid power, hose & fittings, belts, seals & gaskets, pneumatic and automation products, and services.

Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative will take orders for company products via phone or email.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Develops pricing quotes and proposals as requested from outside sales representatives as well as directly from customers.

Accepts and enters data necessary for customer orders via phone, internet, and walk-in, as well as from outside sales employees.

Makes outbound calls to current and potential customers to rekindle relationships with customers.

Works with company sourcing representatives to expedite out-of-stock products and special orders.

Research alternative products and manufacturers per specs provided by customers.

Estimates date of delivery, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules.

Builds and maintains customer relationships.

Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.

Works with outside sales representatives to keep account activities up to date.

Investigates and resolves customer problems with orders and deliveries.

Processes product returns upon authorization.

Works to resolve inventory discrepancies.

Keeps up to date with manufacturers’ products and training to customers.

Provides regular backup to store counter for walk-ins and will-calls.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to research and compile data for quotes and to educate customers.

Ability to identify and efficiently solve problems.

Understanding of inventory management

Excellent customer service skills

Professional communication skills

Negotiation experience

CRM experience strongly preferred.

Proficient in MS Office

Minimum of 2 years of related experience
