The Role

Areas of Responsibility

Account Leadership

Manage day-to-day client-agency communication by maintaining regular contact, responding promptly to client emails, inquiries, and requests for information

Partner with Strategy and account service team to inform project or strategic briefs based on an understanding of business/marketing objectives and project deliverables.

Has a thorough understanding of the client/agency contract, scope of work by project, and overall communications to lead projects accordingly

Manage fully-integrated marketing campaigns from start through completion

Update status report throughout the duration of a project to keep clients and internal team members updated

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across all brands

Plans and executes internal and client meetings (i.e. creative kickoffs, new project kickoffs, weekly client meetings, client presentations), etc.

Build relationships with key internal contributors across disciplines

Establish a reputation as a “go-to” resource on the account

Demonstrate initiative and the ability to anticipate problems and opportunities; formulate and recommend plans to resolve any concerns to Account Director

Financial Leadership

Understand project financial processes including job opening, estimate creation, invoicing

Provide input for scoping specific projects

Track client budget and report invoicing and budget updates to client as appropriate

Secure client approval of agency estimates

Recognize and elevate scope changes

Agency Leadership

Actively participate in positive agency culture. Set tone for collaborative and respectful intra-agency working relationships

Function as a key part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring that all agency team members have the client information and time necessary to develop great work

Seek opportunities to present internally/to clients and gain confidence in external presentations

Qualifications

Detailed, specific experience with integrated campaign development and execution

Experience working as a team, or independently, in a fast-paced environment and managing competing demands for time

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Must be organized, able to solve problems, and can manage time wisely

Ability to absorb a lot of information from a variety of sources

Ability to quickly get up to speed on the platforms, technologies and tools we use to run accounts on a daily basis

A great listener that hears the needs of both clients and internal teams

A propensity for detail no matter the size, complexity or length of project - including keeping track of steps in timelines, intricacies of client branding and prerequisites, and execution guidelines and best practices

Understands agency process, knows how the agency works, and how jobs flow through the agency
