We serve customers across the Southwest United States and have completed projects in Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Texas, and Colorado.

Revolution Industrial is looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic with an expert knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems to join our team. The right candidate will be able to work independently and troubleshoot problems while working with a team to maintain and service the trucks in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the mechanical repair industry and will enjoy the benefits of working in a professional, fast-paced environment where work is always challenging.

Job Summary:

Troubleshoot, repair, recondition, and service heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, machines, systems, and power train components in both the shop and/or field, as necessary. Diagnose malfunctions and failures of machines electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and power train systems and components. Must be able to identify and evaluate root cause failures using electronic tools, schematics and other trouble shooting methods. Be able repair the identified malfunctions and/or failures of machinery and equipment. Must be able to communicate with customers clearly and regularly to effectively explain equipment, condition, status, and make recommendations to management.

Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Operate transportation equipment to demonstrate function or malfunction.

Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Inspect vehicles to determine overall condition.

Test mechanical systems to ensure proper functioning.

Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.

Adjust vehicle components according to specifications.

Repair non-engine automotive or vehicle components.

Read work orders or descriptions of problems to determine repairs or modifications needed.

Troubleshoot equipment or systems operation problems.

Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair.

Reassemble equipment after repair.

Test electrical circuits or components for proper functioning.

Inspect mechanical components of vehicles to identify problems.

Service vehicles to maintain functionality. Install parts or accessories.

Repair worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.

Disassemble equipment to inspect for deficiencies.

Repair defective engines or engine components.

Rebuild parts or components.

Inspect gas systems or components to identify leaks or other potential hazards.

Additional Responsibilities:

Keep work area clean and organized.

Record information about time, parts, materials, and repair details and procedures.

Confer with coworkers to coordinate work activities.

Complete and properly document assigned work orders.

Knowledge Skills And Abilities:

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Ability to clearly communicate with team members, managers, and customers.

Ability to maintain Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Education and Experience:

3-5 years of relevant experience
