Profile Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Head. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team as Head of Accounts. In this leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and providing valuable financial insights to support strategic decision-making. You will also be responsible for leading, mentoring, and motivating the accounts team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. The Account Head will be responsible for managing financial statements, account management, team management, and other finance-related tasks.

Major roles & responsibilities include:

Ensuring & Executing policies related to tax and statuary compliances, as per bylaws.

Lead, motivate, and mentor the accounts team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Manage the entire accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.

Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual) in accordance with accounting standards. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, taxation regulations, and internal control procedures.

Manage tax planning and preparation of tax returns.

Analyze financial data and generate reports to identify trends, assess financial performance, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Conduct periodic internal control assessments and implement necessary improvements to safeguard financial assets and mitigate risks.

Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Delegate tasks effectively, provide coaching and development opportunities, and ensure team members have the resources and support needed to succeed.

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA) designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

Minimum 60% Marks across HSC, SSC, Graduation & Post - Graduation

Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field

Experience with Financial Statements and Account Management

Ability to manage and lead a team

Audit, Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial modeling knowledge

Experience in working with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
