Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive US Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge and experience in handling various accounting tasks related to compliance, invoices, state taxes, and general accounting principles. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a keen eye for accuracy.

Responsibilities

Accounting Tasks: Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

Invoicing: Generate and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve any discrepancies.

State Taxes: Assist in the preparation and filing of state tax returns. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.

Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and provide support as needed. Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and regulatory authorities.

Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.

Audits: Assist in both internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient accounting procedures.

Ad Hoc Tasks: Handle other accounting-related tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Proven work experience as an Accountant, Accounts Executive, or similar role.

Strong understanding of US GAAP and other accounting principles.

Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel proficiency.

Knowledge of state tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

CPA certification (preferred but not required).
