Job Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver high quality customer experience by committing to complete, accurate and timely HR transactions in multiple HR Information Systems.

The HR Systems Sr. Specialist role is to oversee day to day support for HR Systems (Workday, Kronos, ServiceNow).

The HR Systems Sr Specialist is responsible for working closely with team members on ticket resolution, system and data audits, participating in the application testing process and processing mass data updates. This role works on system updates and system enhancements as well as ensuring data integrity within the system.

Roles & Responsibilities

Acts as the support for HR System related issues. Collects necessary documentation from the user, troubleshoots the problem to determine if the problem is training, configuration, or system defect.

Supports additional HR Systems team members on special projects related to the testing, documentation, piloting, and communication of new functionality and system enhancements.

Developing, documenting, and maintaining all current and new HRIS business process workflows for efficiency and compliance

Maintains human resources information systems and related policies and procedures designed to obtain, record, and process employee information.

Offers exceptional customer service and ability to work professionally and proactively with a remote stakeholder base

Process transactions in HR information systems in accordance with applicable laws accurately and in a timely manner

Participates in the application testing process in ensuring defects are identified and logged

Use and improve knowledge articles to challenge and streamline current processes

Secure employee's information ensuring confidentiality

Observes system performance and make recommendations to ensure optimal performance.

Identify opportunities for automation HR Process.

Work with Senior HRIS team members and peers to troubleshoot production issues, research solutions and provide recommendations.

Provide support on additional HRIS projects as needed.

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree - Human Resources, Computer Science or related field.

Skill Set Required

Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio), and Adobe Acrobat.

Effective verbal and written communication skills to build effective relationships with Tier3 & Functional COE's.

Proven time management/organization, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity to compliance-related matters.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Hands on experience with ERP tools, preferably ServiceNow /Workday/Kronos/PeopleSoft etc.

Preferred

Minimum 2 Year Experience supporting a Human Capital Management
