Eninrac is looking for a research analyst who will be a part of our research & consulting (R&C) team

The candidate will be working for energy industry practice

As a research analyst in the energy industry practice, you will be working on strategic, analytical and operational topics likely focusing on many elements surrounding electric power, transmission & distribution (T&D), retail markets, renewable energy & energy transition including green hydrogen, BESS, oil & gas,coal etc

The candidate will be required to research and synthesize actionable insights in response to complex research questions posed by our consulting teams and clients, leveraging a solid understanding of business and technology trends, issues and concepts in the conventional & non converntional energy domain

Responsibilities

You will collect and analyze data and information found in primary and secondary research domains.

You will assemble the relevant fact base, counsel consultants and clients on the scope of business operations, technology, and strategic and economic trends within the electricity and broader energy transition space, and provide insights and analysis for solving our clients problems.

Some of your day-to-day tasks will include to develop & manage Eninracs properietary data tool/(s) in the energy domain, capturing daily insights upon Eninracs properietary platform Einfews relevant to your industry domain.

Developing the data tools shall be a timeline bound job & managing the updates of information/insights/analyses shall be a cyclic practices.

Furthermore, the day-to-day tasks will include working upon Eninracs ecosystem research reports - this will be a cyclic task and releasing updated reports quarterly for the clients shall be the sole responsibility of the candidate.

The ecosystem reports shall include analyses such as benchmarking, trend identification, industry profiling, market sizing, growth projections, opportunity scanning, etc

you'll also provide synthesis, insight and client implications within tight deadlines via end products in the form of PowerPoint charts, written memos, models and frameworks.

You will assisting senior team members with the desired inputs on the industry.

Working as a team player and willing to work in a cross functional team environment when required.

Supporting sales team in preparing the desired pitch for the ecosystem reports/ data tools to the clients. Assisting them in client calls & supporting them with desired sample extracts of the reports.

Requirements & Skills

Bachelors in economics/business administration/engineering with a very good academic record.

Relevant upto 2 years of work experience in the energy sector (conventional & non-conventional energy domain) & understaning of basic terminonlogies and concepts of the said industry domain.

Experience of working on industry research reports and data tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and conceptual abilities.

Capabilities in collection, analysis and synthesis of information and knowledge.

Service-oriented personality, intellectual curiosity and an investigative mind.

Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong multitasking abilities.

Excellent communication skills in English.

Proficiency MS office - word/PPT/excel is necessary
