Job Description:

We are looking for a Quality Analyst to be part of our scrum teams and perform testing based on Ab Initio-ETL applications. This high visibility fast-paced key initiative will integrate data across internal and external sources, provide analytical insights and integrate with our critical systems.

Technical Stack:

Ab Initio 3.5.x or 4.0.x software suite – Co Operating System, EME, BRE, Conduct It, Express It, Metadata Hub, Query It, Control Center

Ab Initio 3.5.x or 4.0.x frameworks – Acquire It, DQA, Spec-To-Graph, Testing Framework

Big Data – Cloudera or Hortonworks Hadoop, Hive, Yarn

Databases - Oracle 11G/12C, Teradata, MongoDB, Snowflake, Cassandra

Others – JIRA, Service Now, Linux 6/7/8, SQL Developer, AutoSys, and Microsoft Office

Job Duties:

Prepare detailed test plan, test scripts and test cases by understanding the business logic and user requirements.

Expertise in Big Data/ Collibra/ Ab Initio/Informatica Testing.

Analyze transformation rules, rating the complexities and preparing the estimations.

Prepare and executing E2E, Integration, functional, smoke test cases. Writing SQL queries for data validation.

Have working knowledge of HP ALM.

Work with the development team to create a suite of test data (both input files and expected results) that fully exercises data validation.

Improve specification and design documents through active review and feedback with developers.

Integration of data across various sources in an ETL process, versioning, manual correction of tables, address correction.

Monitor execution of workflows, preparing the root cause analysis report by analyzing the data and logs if any failure.

Key Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (such as Engineering, Computer Science) and a minimum of 4 years of experience.

In-depth knowledge of HP-ALM tool for Manual Testing knowing automated testing will be an added advantage.

Sound knowledge of quality assurance methods and procedures, software testing life cycle as well as SDLC (Agile Scrum Methodology, Waterfall Methodology),.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, organizational skills, interpersonal skills and project planning skills.
