Job Description

We are looking for a Consolidation and Reporting Specialist to join our Group Accounting Team and help us taking the financial data for both external and internal distribution to the next level.

The Group Accounting Team leads the periodic group closing process and is responsible for the group internal control system and the production of high-quality group financial information for internal and external stakeholders in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the SIX Swiss Exchange regulation.

Your Responsibilities:

Active role in the monthly group consolidation and reporting process, including the monthly preparation of consolidated financial statements.

Key role in the preparation of internal management reports and the external midyear and annual reports.

Ensure quality and integrity of financial and accounting data via sanity checks.

System owner of our consolidation and reporting system CCH Tagetik.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the maintenance and continuous improvements of CCH Tagetik.

Provide technical support and advice to legal entities and other stakeholders in accounting, consolidation and financial closing.

Support external auditors to ensure the smooth execution of the group audits.

Work cross-functionally in different international projects and ad-hoc requests.

Experience and qualifications:

A Master/Bachelor of Commerce (M.com/B.com) with a focus on accounting and/or IT.

Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA/ACCA) is mandatory and Big 4 background preferred.

+6 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar function, preferably in a listed company.

Solid record in theoretical and practical consolidation and reporting according to IFRS.

Extensive experience with CCH Tagetik and/or other consolidation software.

Strong IT Affinity.

Proven ability to leverage current technology to drive process efficiencies.

Strong Excel skills and project management experience.

Pro-active and analytical mindset.

Excellent communication skills and team spirit.

Fluency in English (written and verbal).
