Job Description:

Optimum Data Analytics is seeking a talented and experienced Azure Databricks Admin and Developer to join our team in Yadwada, Pune. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in administering and developing solutions using Azure Databricks, along with a strong understanding of cloud technologies and data engineering principles.

Responsibilities:

1. Administer and maintain Azure Databricks environment, including cluster management, access control, and performance tuning.

2. Design, develop, and implement data pipelines and workflows using Azure Databricks to support various data processing and analytics needs.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging Azure Databricks.

4. Optimize and troubleshoot data processing jobs and queries to ensure efficient and reliable performance.

5. Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance within the Azure Databricks environment. 6. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Azure Databricks and other relevant technologies, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. 5-7 years of experience working with Azure Databricks in an administrative and development capacity.

3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL.

4. Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience working with Azure services.

5. Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

7. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
