Job Description
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for:
Collaborating with the Talent team to efficiently acquire and retain human resources to support the team's mission, while taking ownership of the selection process
Cultivating an enjoyable and dynamic work environment, fostering a merit-based culture that is attracting top talent in the industry
Promoting a highly engaged and dedicated work atmosphere by implementing objective-setting and performance management procedures
Guiding and mentoring the team, providing appropriate training and development opportunities, and removing obstacles to enhance team performance
Establishing annual team objectives aligned with the overall departmental goals
Ensuring that the team is executing tasks in accordance with the departmental strategy and annual objectives
Developing, updating, and revising departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with Director-level approval
Guaranteeing adherence to established processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by the team
Addressing and resolving any gaps or issues within the team
Creating and managing procedures for handling customer issues, ensuring that the department is maintaining service and productivity standards
Collaborating with various functional areas within the Labs department to currently optimize Agile team performance and achieve product roadmap milestones
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field with at least 10+ years experience professional experience
Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role, with a track record of successfully leading engineering teams
Strong technical background
Excellent leadership and communication skills
