ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate special education teacherthis upcoming school year for a contract position located near Farmington, Connecticut. This is an excellent school district with lots of support with wonderfulcolleagues and students. For anyone commuting for this position, we can provide travel and housing stipends to help compensate for the drive.

Job Type:

Create and execute personalized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, in cooperation with parents, therapists, and fellow educators.

Modify instructional materials and techniques to suit varied learning styles and capacities.

Deliver direct instruction in core academic subjects, life skills, and social-emotional growth, tailored to individual student needs.

Collaborate with peers to devise and implement inclusion and differentiation strategies within the standard curriculum.

Compensation ranges from $35 to $45 per hour, with further details available during interviews.

Qualifications:

Possess valid state certification in Special Education (CT).

Hold a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Special Education.
