About Us: We are a specialized educational institution dedicated to providing prehensive support and education to students aged 5-22. Our model classrooms operate under a 100% Special Education/Self-Contained framework, ensuring tailored instruction and individualized attention for every student. Currently, we have a pressing need for passionate educators to join our team, particularly for upper elementary/middle school and high school levels. However, the 165 endorsement covers grades K-12, offering a diverse range of opportunities within our institution.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.

Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and assistive technologies to facilitate student learning and promote skill development.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth, independence, and self-advocacy.

Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure student progress and success.

Assess student progress regularly, modify instruction as needed, and maintain accurate records of student performance and achievement.

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education and instructional methodologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters degree preferred).

Valid teaching license with a 165 endorsement or eligibility for endorsement in Special Education.

Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a self-contained or inclusive classroom setting.

Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs), behavior management techniques, and differentiated instruction strategies.

Excellent munication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
