Occupational Therapy Assistant

Position Summary:

The primary function of the COTA is to treat inpatients and outpatients as assigned by the Occupational Therapist practicing within the scope of New York State law. The Occupational Therapy Assistant aids with the restoration of patient function to prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability.

Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree Program in Occupational Therapy.

Licensed to practice as a COTA in the State of New York.

One year diversified clinical experience strongly preferred.

Ability to learn third party reimbursement requirements.

Salary Range:

$23.96 - $35.91 per hour
