The Senior Project Manager for Blue Learning leads the planning and implementation of company-wide project management initiatives. The incumbent oversees all aspects of projects, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring, and summarizing the progress of projects. Preparing reports for upper management regarding the status of projects is central to the scope of work, as is being familiar with a variety of project management concepts, practices, and procedures. The Senior Project Manager relies on his/her experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Blue Learning.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification, and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (required)
PMP Certification (preferred)
Proficient in project management software
Direct work experience in a project management capacity – two (2) to four (4) years minimum
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
Experience with human relations management
A wide degree of near and long term project management vision, business understanding, and personal organization
Experience working in a self-directed environment
Experience in an educational setting (preferred)

Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead the planning and implementation of Blue Learning project management initiatives
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
Provides end-to-end project leadership, coordinating internal and external resources in the completion of project tasks and milestones.
Be the subject matter expert regarding project management software
Manage, plan and schedule key project deliverables and timelines
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
Manages complex projects with minimal management oversight
Constantly monitor progress of all projects
Develop and present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions on a regular basis to the executive team
Disseminate information
Initiates action to improve processes, tools, and methods leading to flawless project execution
Implement, uphold and enforce system-wide policies and procedures
Provide project evaluations and assessment of results
Disaggregate and analyze data
Serve as a liaison
Risk management
