We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Legal Assistant in NORWALK, Connecticut. This role involves providing administrative support in a legal setting, specifically focused on transactional and commercial real estate matters. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a high level of organization, comfort with various software tools, and the ability to handle a multitude of tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the legal team

• Utilize various software tools including Microsoft Word, Adobe, Excel, and Case Management Software

• Assist with the creation of entities and organization of signature pages

• Handle redlining and document comparisons accurately

• Maintain and manage client intake and complaint handling processes

• Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel to create and maintain organizational charts

• Demonstrate experience or familiarity with transactional/commercial real estate

• Manage calendars effectively and handle multi-line phone systems efficiently

• Process various legal documents and ensure their proper management in the relevant systems.• Proficiency in case management software usage

• Experience with management systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites

• Ability to manage calendars and coordinate meetings, appointments, and deadlines

• Experience in handling complaints and resolving conflicts

• Proficiency in multi-line phone systems

• Experience in client intake, including gathering and recording client information

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law or related field is preferred.
