Job Details

REQUIREMENTS:

- 3-10 years of civil engineering experience, PE or on track to obtain it

- AutoCad Civil 3D proficiency

- Commercial, single, and multi-family residential site design and permitting experience

- Knowledge of planning and zoning

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Site design & land development including roads, grading, drainage studies, erosion control, utility infrastructure, and storm and sanitary sewers

- Zoning Reviews, Site Investigation & Due Diligence; Preparation of Concept Drawings including coordination with AutoCad Drafters

- Design of Stormwater Management, Stormwater Conveyance Systems & Stormwater Detention using AutoCAD/C3D & Hydrology software; Stormwater management report

- Preparation of pipe sizing calculations for stormwater conveyance systems, drainage area maps, surface runoff coefficients, invert, slope, velocity & hydraulic grade line evaluation

- Grading Design; Design of Utility Systems, including stormwater conveyance, sanitary sewer service, water, gas, telephone service

- Soil Erosion & Sediment Control Design, stability calculations, Best Management Practices, swale design, spillway design
