Job Description
Bookkeeper
The position is responsible for the following:
Accounts payable and accounts receivables
recording day to day transactions
Invoicing, processing payments and collections.
Bi-Weekly Payroll as needed
End of year W-2's and 1099's
Setting up New States for Payroll
Process Retirement reports
Sales/Use tax (Paying and applying for refunds)
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Monthly financial reports
General Bookkeeping journal entries/ code expenses
General ledger
Data entry
Pay toll invoices online
Pick up and drop off mail
Scan incoming checks
Scan incoming invoices
Fill gas card when needed
Get daily bank transactions and disseminate to other finance folks
Pay Verizon bill online
New vendor entry
All expense reports
Answer customer calls and questions
Process credit card payments from customers
Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central and Quickbooks. Previous bookkeeping experience are a must. Candidates should be proficient in MS Office.
Ideal candidate will exhibit the following:
Have working knowledge of Business Central Mandatory, MS Dynamics and Quickbooks
Be able to perform above tasks independently and accurately.
Have excellent organizational skills
Have attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Fluent in English
Degree in Accounting or related field. Experience in a related position for two or more years may be considered in lieu of a degree.
