Job Duties:

• Gather and document user requirements to understand project needs.

• Devise and implement database architecture for various information systems projects. Create, modify, integrate, and test data models and database management systems.

• Provide insights and guidance to informatics professionals on selecting, applying, and implementing database management tools.

• Utilize database management systems for data analysis and conduct data mining analyses.

• Potentially lead, coordinate, or supervise other team members within this group.

• Develop comprehensive policies and procedures for network and/or Internet database access and usage.

• Design protocols for the backup and recovery of data to ensure data integrity and availability.
