Welder/Mechanics

Lingo Staffing is now hiring Welders/Mechanics in the Orlando, FL area to start ASAP! Welders/Mechanics - Required to install service bodies, platforms, dumps and van packages, hoists, electrical components, circuits, Sordino units, ladder racks, and other light mechanical assembly. Welders repair metal products by heating them with their welding tools. Some welders use different metals, like steel or aluminum. They also inspect materials or structures requiring welding and monitor processes. Pay rate: $20.00 an hour. Scheduled:

1st shift: Monday â Friday: 7:00AM â 4:00PM

Must be able to work overtime as needed. Job Requirements & Duties:

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.

A minimum of 2 years experience as a welder.

Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.

12-volt wiring and experience using hand tools.

Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams.

Operate forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torches, and other hand tools related to the jobs.

Inspect equipment to maintain functional equipment. If any equipment needs repairs, notify the supervisor/lead or maintenance.

Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

Able to read and interpret hydraulic diagrams.

Knowledge of hoists, cranes, and PTOs.

Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.

Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.

Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred.

Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.

Outstanding attention to detail.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Able to maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
