Position Summary:
The Team Lead Information Services ensures the delivery and support of information systems and associated services as the leader of a technical or functional sub-team. In addition to their own technical work, the Team Lead, under direction of their manager or director, oversees day-to-day functions of that technical sub-team. Mentors team members in developing their professional and technical skills, helping ensure that the team is optimally positioned to support the needs of the organization as it applies to their area of responsibility, as well as the extended IS team. The position is responsible for the productivity, skills mix, quality and compliance of their assigned team. This position spends 20% overseeing teamwork assignments and activities, 10% coordinating with IS management or other peers/leadership, 65% on direct technical duties, 5% on administrative and clerical tasks.
Responsibilities:
As an experience (Senior/Principle) technical member of the Enterprise Infrastructure or End User Computing team, continue to perform duties as aligned with that role, with time adjusted and prorated accordingly per the site lead responsibilities (see above).
Responsible for the daily oversight of IS Team operations to provision compliant and reliable systems and IS service delivery for their group
Provides input to IS strategic planning and budgeting based on business needs and changes.
Provides input to the Versiti IS budgeting process.
In collaboration with the IS management team, establishes and enforces technical priorities and enforces Versiti IS standards, policies, and procedures.
Serves as the point person for escalated issues for their area of technical responsibility
Helps ensure they and their team meets established timelines for project implementation and completion.
Provides input to, and supports staff hiring, training and development
Assists in coaching associates to correct deficiencies and provides input to performance reviews.
Complies with all Versiti and location-specific policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as required, e.g., managing time off requests, etc.
Provides effective oversight for local personnel. This position has no direct reports.

Qualifications:
Education
Four-year degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field preferred
equivalent experience. required
Experience
1-3 years experience working at the Senior level in Enterprise Infrastructure or End User Computing required
Experience working with an automated service desk system and adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)/key performance indicators required
Experience working in a matrix environment preferred
Experience working in a regulated and/or highly structured IT environment preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Broad technical knowledge with demonstrated information technology leadership skills to oversee their sub-teams responsibilities
Solid working knowledge of data center and network operations.
Working knowledge of cyber security, firewall, and data and system protection technologies and practices
Demonstrated ability to maintain technology standards and provide architecturally sound and fault free solutions with their team.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, and successfully interact with peers and all staff levels within aligning tactics and daily work priorities to IS and business strategy and needs, while complying with Versiti standards.
