Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for naval clients, providing expert HR support and guidance on a wide range of topics, including recruitment, personnel management, performance evaluation, and training and development.

Collaborate with naval leadership and HR teams to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support organizational objectives and enhance workforce effectiveness.

Advise naval personnel on HR policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing naval HR practices.

Coordinate recruitment and selection processes for naval positions, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection, in accordance with naval HR policies and procedures.

Manage personnel records and databases for naval personnel, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of HR information in compliance with naval regulations and privacy laws.

Facilitate performance evaluation processes for naval personnel, providing guidance and support to supervisors and employees on performance goals, feedback, and development planning.

Support training and development initiatives for naval personnel, coordinating training programs, workshops, and other learning opportunities to enhance skills and capabilities.

Conduct HR-related investigations and resolve employee relations issues in collaboration with naval leadership and legal advisors, ensuring fair and equitable treatment of all personnel.

Stay informed about developments and trends in naval HR policies, procedures, and regulations, and provide recommendations for updates and improvements as needed.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in HR management, business administration, or related field.

Master's degree preferred.

5+ years of experience in HR management or HR consulting, with specific experience in Naval HR preferred.

Strong understanding of naval HR policies, procedures, and regulations, including familiarity with NAVPERS and other applicable directives.

Experience in recruitment, personnel management, performance evaluation, and training and development in a naval or military context.

Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations, including EEO, FMLA, and ADA.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with naval personnel and leadership.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify HR-related challenges and develop practical solutions.

Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
