Civil Design Engineer

Job Description

A Leading design firm in Indiana has an opening for a Senior Civil Design Engineer working a hybrid schedule in their Indianapolis Office. This is a great opportunity!

Responsibilities:

Organize, prioritize and perform work assignments

Client communications

Prepare planning/specification documentation and technical reports, engineering analyses, opinions on probable costs and supporting calculations

Evaluate, select and recommend/perform design solutions

Perform quality control/quality assurance activities

Understand/apply departments standards and procedures

Mentor/train junior staff

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

5+ years of experience in diverse civil site design projects

P.E. License

Knowledge of site grading/drainage design (storm sewer and detention)

Proficient in utility design, including sanitary sewer, potable water and storm sewer

Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software

LEED AP preferred

Salary is commensurate with experience.
