We are looking for an experienced Database Developer to join our team.

Job Description & Requirements

Provide support to investigate and troubleshoot issues related with E-business Suite applications.

Perform cloning of the EBS environment to non-prod environments, as requested by business groups.

Perform daily system monitoring activities to include verifying the integrity and availability of E-business Suite application server resources.

Support E-Business Suite, code migration, interface design, XML publisher reporting, SQL procedures and concurrent requests; and create shell/SQL scripts, packages, and stored procedures to manipulate data.

Provide Oracle application systems administration including user account management and maintenance, e.g., assigning printers, configuring, and monitoring Concurrent Manager (CM) queues, scheduling jobs, setting up profile options and setup / configuration / administration of Oracle alerts and workflow mailers.

Evaluate, recommend, and serve as point of contact (POC) for software and hardware for databases, Oracle ERP applications, and other third-party products.

Perform installations, configurations, upgrades, and advanced clone / patching of Oracle ERP applications and WebLogic (configure and setup of load balancing, fault tolerance and PCP).

Provide installation, configuration, and administration of Noetix, Vertex and other third-party products integrated with E-business Suite and execute all applications DBA tasks through Active Directory utilities.

Participate, review, and lead Disaster Recovery planning and exercises as well as all Exadata migration activities.

Perform general database maintenance activities to including backup and recovery, Oracle Data Guard configuration, cloning, capacity planning, and user account / access management.

Serve as Oracle E-Business Suite and RDBMS subject matter expert (SME) and mentor throughout WSSC providing guidance on data technologies and developing and implementing data strategies and policies.

Assist in evaluation for enhancement and upgrade of Oracle E-Business Suite.

Perform annual Disaster Recovery and Pre-Disaster Recovery exercises.

Configure, per the requirements provided by WSSC, and install DB updates.

Knowledge, skills, ability, and experience in:

Building and configuring new Oracle DBs in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI),

Planning, deploying, managing Oracle Security Patches for DBs in OCI.

Configuring and deploying Oracle Grid architecture.

Experience in Managing Oracle Autonomous Database.

Patching of databases in Oracle OCI cloud.

Managing database workload in Oracle OCI with knowledge of scale in and scale out of resources.
