As a Sr. Tax Accountant, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. The ideal candidate is someone with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in tax preparation as either a Sr. Tax Accountant or strong tax senior. Someone who can prepare returns, review returns and be engaged in highly complex projects.

This is a direct hire position, and the salary range is 100 to 150K DOE.

The firm consists of approximately 5 professionals (with average employee tenure of 12 years) and serve very high net wealth clients and have bee in business since 2005 and the secret to their success stems from:

About the Position:

We are seeking critical thinkers and problem solvers. The primary role, in this position, will be tax centric with the desire to leverage this person into other consultative roles as required from time to time (see Our Matters below). The tasks will include the preparation, review and tax planning for various taxpayers (individuals, corporations,

partnerships and estates and trusts).

Key critical skill sets and/or experience is below:

A minimum of (6) years of experience and an active CPA license

Quickly understand or adapt to remote working environments

Communicate well with clients and staff and follow up and pro-actively communicate problems encountered in the tax preparation and planning processes (absolute bare minimum skill set).

The successful candidate must have a minimum of (4) years directly interfacing with clients without supervision.

Project management skills and the ability to discern the right time and/or person(s) to bring into a given matter

Ability to use software help-related manuals and conduct research and work independently before prematurely engaging other team-members

Strong excel and workpaper organizational skills

Strong accounting skills. Must have a minimum strong working knowledge of trial balances, general ledgers and Quickbooks.
