LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a highly motivated Bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join their team in Oak Park, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources administration, with a focus on employee relations, engagement, and compliance. The Bilingual HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting the workforce and ensuring a positive work environment for all employees. Work Schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00 pm-10:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries and support for employees and managers on the 2nd shift.

Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR policies, procedures, and programs.

Conduct new hire orientations and assist with onboarding processes for new employees.

Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.

Collaborate with managers to address employee concerns and develop solutions to improve employee engagement and morale.

Administer HR programs and initiatives, including benefits administration, leave management, and employee recognition programs.

Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations as they pertain to human resources administration.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.

Support recruitment and staffing efforts, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.

Assist with HR reporting and data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment.

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal, is required.

Strong knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations pertaining to human resources administration.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

Proven conflict resolution skills and ability to handle sensitive employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.

Experience with employee engagement initiatives and programs.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work 2nd shift hours: Monday-Friday 2:00 pm-10:30 pm.
