Retail Store Manager - Buy-Rite Wine, Liquor & Beer

Job Description

Buy-Rite is looking for motivated team members at some of our Mercer/Middlesex County area locations! We are looking for experienced retail workers to assist with our daily operations. We are a constantly growing and expanding company with lots of opportunities to work and grow in various aspects of the wine, beer, and spirits industry.

The Store Manager motivates and inspires the team to achieve store productivity goals. They will do this by analyzing business and market trends as well as historical data to create strategies to drive top line sales. They will lead a team including Assistant Manager, Head Clerks, Receiving Manager, and Sales employees; as well as manage payroll budgets and store controlled expenses to ensure store’s contribution is on target.

Requirements - Skills Required:

Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results

Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions

Relationship Management: Able to build constructive and effective relationships

Ability to influence at all levels, as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and be assertive in driving successful management strategies

Influencing and Negotiation: Can present ideas and directions that lead others to action

Planning and Priority Setting: Demonstrate an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals .Possess strong organizational and time management skills

Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills

Qualifications:

3-5 years experience in retail store management

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Must be an excellent organizer and problem solver with strong project management skills

Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to both internal and external customers

Physical Requirements (with or without accommodations)

Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day

Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly
