Job Description

Condé Nast is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and proven Product Management Leader to help guide product planning and execution in the Customer Data products..

You will be responsible for devising strategies and driving the technical execution of projects focused on enhancing our data capabilities for Conde Nast, with a large focus on developing our Experimentation, Personalization and Segmentation capabilities. You will serve as a product liaison between the Condé Nast product & technology teams, various stakeholder team including editorial, revenue and strategic leadership (where appropriate). You will manage and lead a team to gather requirements for the development of customer data products based on analyses of our business and functional needs to drive enterprise strategy and value. You will gain buy-in from senior level stakeholders, define the prioritisation of features & user stories, work with the multi-discipline teams to implement product features, and measure the impact of these changes.

You will need to work closely with other Product Directors and Managers, Product Designers, and Engineers (at all levels) to scope, prioritise and develop capabilities that will support Conde Nast’s businesses and ambitions.

Responsibilities include:

Deliver transformation programs associated with customer Data Products and the ongoing development and delivery of Experimentation, Personalization and Segmentation capabilities, helping drive new practices and long term enterprise business value and revenue.

Direct the prioritization of efforts focused on growing our Customer Data Products and Experimentation, Personalization and Segmentation capabilities.

Work closely with Data Science, Data Solutions Engineering, other engineering teams, design, and product teams to define product and technical roadmaps and execute on them incl performing product acceptance testing for new capabilities and coordinating business QA.

Work closely with stakeholders (Editorial, Consumer revenue, Commercial revenue) on requirements and use case definition

Evangelizing and driving adoption for launched products with CN Technology, stakeholders and the wider CN team..

Gain a deep understanding of our products and capabilities and locate gaps in functionality as they pertain to customer Data products.

Set up your team to field inbound questions and concerns from users looking to utilize Experimentation, Personalization and Segmentation capabilities. Translate feature requests into requirements and assist in their prioritization.

Regularly assess the competitive landscape in order to identify Customer Data product and Experimentation, Personalization and Segmentation capabilities and features that need to be prioritized.

Define OKR’s associated with Customer Data products and Experimentation, Personalization and Segmentation capabilities and measure progress against them.

The ideal candidate has:

10+ years of product management, consultancy or similar experience.

Experience with Customer Data products including but not limited to Experimentation platforms, Personalization concepts and capabilities, Segmentation platforms, Customer Data Platforms, Identity, ESPs, Subscription systems, Data Warehousing

Experience working on digital media and customer data will be a benefit.

Experience translating business challenges into data solutions seeing 1st party data as an asset while being customer centric and focused.

Experience sizing and prioritizing opportunities, writing technical requirements, and working closely with engineers.

Comfort and experience with developing and measuring product OKRs to drive business outcomes.

Strong communication and project management skills and the ability to manage timelines across multiple teams.

Experience managing and mentoring product managers, functional team members.

Experience working closely and collaboratively with various stakeholders from VP to IC levels..

A strong interest in the process and tools associated with how best-in-class data products can impact enterprise value.
