Automation Service Engineer

Experience- 6 months to 2 years

Key Responsibilities

Industrial Automation Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of industrial automation to design, implement, and maintain systems that incorporate VFD and PLC-HMI technologies.

Hands-On Experience: Demonstrate proficiency in VFD and PLC-HMI products through hands-on experience, including installation, configuration, programming, and troubleshooting.

OEM Development Projects: Collaborate with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) in the execution of development projects. Translate OEM requirements into actionable plans and ensure the successful implementation of automation solutions.

Complex Application Handling: Take ownership of complex automation applications, independently managing all aspects of execution. Utilize your problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and optimize system performance.

Bill of Materials (BOM) Preparation: Independently prepare comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on OEM requirements and project specifications. Ensure accuracy and completeness in sourcing components for system integration.

Schematic Design: Develop system schematics and wiring diagrams to facilitate the integration of VFD and PLC-HMI systems into larger automation frameworks. Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Technical Support: Provide technical support to internal teams and customers, addressing inquiries related to VFD and PLC-HMI systems. Troubleshoot issues remotely or on-site to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operation.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of all activities, including project plans, specifications, BOMs, schematics, and maintenance records. Generate regular reports to track project progress and system performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Diploma/B-tech( Electrical, Electronics & telecommunication, Mechatronics and Instrumentation)

Extensive experience in industrial automation with a focus on VFD (AC Drive) and PLC-HMI systems.

Proven hands-on experience in the installation, configuration, programming, and troubleshooting of VFD and PLC-HMI products.

Previous experience working with OEMs and executing OEM development projects.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex automation applications independently.

Proficiency in preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and developing system schematics.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support and project engagements.
