Mitigation/Reconstruction Estimator

Job Description

Respond to all mitigation losses - water damage mitigation, mold remediation, fire/smoke restoration

Conduct initial inspections for all jobs you are assigned to and produce the appropriate scope of work

Effectively able to diagnose and develop appropriate estimate/job scope to restore client's property to pre-loss condition.

Estimate jobs according to IICRC and company standards

Provide all supporting documentation to clients, insurance companies and managers when applicable

Obtain signatures on all necessary documentation (work authorization, customer information, required insurance paperwork, etc.)

Use platforms depending on assignment such as MICA, Docusketch, Pack Out, etc.

Produce preliminary and final estimates in Xactimate

Review and confirm all MICA reports are up to date and data is filled in accurately and completely

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, managers, customers and 3rd party vendors.

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Must possess computer skills to effectively us management software and estimate software (Xactimate, Excel, Word, etc.)
