General Duties & Functions
Assembles mold components (segments and sidewalls) and installs into the mold containers
Install and remove molds from the curing press including installation of steam lines
Maintain all necessary records in the working documentation. Enter data in computer-aided production control systems in accordance with the Company’s internal procedures
Disassembly of molds when removed from the machine
Cleaning of the molds utilizing dry ice machine and bead blast cabinet as required
Execute continuous control of the quality of mold cleaning and condition
Label, record, warehouse and store molds
Cleans and replaces mini valves in the mold segments and sidewalls as required
Operate a forklift when installing, removing and transporting molds to curing presses and back, connect and disconnect molds from the curing press steam system
Execute all procedures and instructions of ISO 9001 and 14001 quality systems within the scope of official duties
Ensure cleanliness and order at the site for repair and maintenance of molds, treat the Company property with care;
Comply with all Company's requirements for labor protection, industrial safety, policies and Internal Labor Regulations.

Skills/Qualifications
Possesses knowledge of hand tools and use of feeler gage to check mold gaps
Ability to work with portable electric and pneumatic tools
Knowledgeable in hoist and rigging practices
Trained, permitted to operate and possesses a forklift driver license
Experience of working in the field of metalworking or mechanical maintenance or mill operator for not less than 1 year
Attention to detail, carefulness, honesty, and reliability during work execution
Ability to follow correct processes and procedures
Technical mindset and engineering approach;
Computer skills at user level (Excel, Word);
Ability to promptly and efficiently resolve the emerging issues, including technical issues
Must possess good communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates team spirit, shows flexibility and positive attitude as an active team contributor
Demonstrates the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Demonstrates problem solving skills, is able to recognize and appropriately escalate issues when situations arise
Ability to successfully pass pre-employment background check, physical exam and drug screening
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
1 to 2 years of mechanical or experience in a manufacturing environment
Lean / process improvement tools experience and/or interest in advancing knowledge in this area
Physical Demands
Must be able to remain in a stationary position throughout assigned working hours
Frequent reaching, grasping, bending, and stooping
Must be able to tolerate odor from raw materials, freshly cured tires and hot materials
Frequent pulling and/or pushing up to 20 lbs. independently, and occasional pushing and/or pulling up to 35 lb. independently, and greater weights with mechanical automation assistance
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. independently, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 lbs. independently, and greater weights with mechanical automation assistance
Must be able to frequently engage in repetitive motions requiring substantial movement of the wrist, hands and/or fingers
Adequate vision to read work instructions, job aids and guides, and detect imperfections in raw materials, tooling and finished product
Ability to work in environment with limited climate control and varied temperature levels
Must be able to communicate effectively in an environment with continual noise, requiring the ability to hear, understand and communicate work instructions and directions while wearing company provided hearing protection
Must be able to be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment mechanical equipment and vibration
Must be willing and able to work a 12 hour shift (days or nights)
