Landing Gear Technologies is an FAA Certified Repair Station specializing in the repair and overhaul of aircraft landing gears and components. We are currently looking to hire General Maintenance.

The General Maintenance Worker will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including basic plumbing, basic electrical, basic carpentry, and other building duties that may come along.

Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.

Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.

Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.

Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.

Performs routine maintenance on building systems.

Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.

Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills:

Knowledge of safe working techniques and procedures.

Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills

Experience & Education:

High school education or equivalent.

Handyman experience 3 years

Physical Requirements/Working Environment:

Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and on occasion heavier items.

Ability to stand for several hours, ability to climb ladders, ability to wear a respirator.
