Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Director to play a pivotal role in steering our company through an exciting period of growth. You'll lead a dynamic team, optimizing project efficiency and profitability while ensuring the highest standards in safety and quality. Your strategic guidance will be instrumental in shaping our operational practices, driving the successful delivery of hotel construction projects, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. This is an opportunity to mentor and inspire, leveraging your expertise to scale our operations and exceed client expectations, all while contributing to the company's ambitious growth trajectory.

This role reports directly to the President of the company.

Outline of Position Duties

Strategic Leadership and Operational Excellence:

Develop strategies to boost efficiency and profitability in operations.

Manage project life cycles, budget, quality, and safety protocols.

Provide leadership to project managers, aiming for successful project completions.

Analyze data for operational improvements and risk management.

Maintain safety standards and present operational insights to executives.

Team Development and Performance Management:

Promote a collaborative environment and effective performance management.

Encourage team growth and alignment with Firmo's objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Maintain strong connections with clients, subcontractors, and industry peers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in construction management/business or related; Master’s preferred.

5-10 years in construction operations with a record of successful project delivery.

Expertise in construction methods and project management software.

Experience managing regional teams and projects.

Willingness to travel within the Southeast.
