Job Location: Canada Salary: $20.00 -$25.00 hr Job Position: Lmia Computer network technician Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Part-Time, 40-60 hours per week Education: High School or Diploma Degree Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements Key Responsibilities: Network Installation and Configuration: Design and install computer networks, including LANs, WANs, and VPNs, to meet client requirements.

Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment to ensure secure and reliable connections.

Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and diagnose network issues using various tools and software.

Perform routine maintenance, such as firmware updates and hardware replacements, to keep networks running smoothly.

Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect networks from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies regarding data protection and network security.

Customer Support: Provide technical support to clients, addressing network-related issues and responding to service requests.

Communicate with clients to understand their network needs and offer solutions that align with their goals.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.

Prepare reports on network performance and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.

Collaboration with IT Team: Work closely with other IT professionals, including system administrators and software developers, to ensure seamless integration of network systems.

Qualifications: LMIA approval for Computer Network Technician position.

Previous experience in network administration, IT support, or a related field.

Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, and network security.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
