Job Description

A school near Prince William County VA is in need of an onsite psychologist for the current school year!

Hours: Full time/ 35 hrs per week, school year's remainder

Itinerant

Caseload: preschool evaluations

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate the educational, learning styles, and program needs of each child referred to special education services

- Collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).

- Provide diagnostic information and work cooperatively with instructional personnel to provide the most appropriate programs for students with disabilities.

Software/Systems: Only Care USA (training provided)

Requirements:

- Active School Psychologist license in North Carolina.

-Master s degree preferred

- Experience conducting psychological assessments in a school or educational setting.

- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
